Why doesn't he know yet? Can’t he get the hint? Just yesterday
we were talking at school and he texted me last night, and almost every text
had a smiley face in it. And today nothing. I’m tired of always being the one
who has to start the conversations and such. For one I would love if he would.
Why… he is one of my really good friends and I would never want to lose him. He
is super good at any sport he does and is supa dupa funny… exactly my type. Why
can’t he tell? After all he is the one who started talking to me over
spring break this past year. I had nothing to do with him; we were in the same
group of friends, so I knew him pretty well. But one day over spring break he
messaged me on facebook, and we hit it off. But then when we got back to school
he started talking to my best friend. Just like every other guy that I've liked, it was happening all over again. I was tired of being used by some of my
best girlfriends. We had soooo much in common. People said we would look so
cute together since he is really tall, and I’m pretty short. I just don’t know.
I spent so much time worrying if that other guy was talking to her and not me. She said she didn't like him, but that’s what
she said about this guy too: Last year my best friend introduced me to this
really nice guy who supposedly liked me and we hit it off really well! He told
me he liked me and I said that I liked him too, I thought he was going to ask
me out or something but then he said that he was just too busy with sports, and
school, and everything. I was devastated. That was in September 2011, then in
December 2011 he and my best friend started dating. I was mad yes, because
neither one of then told me about it. He actually told me before my best friend
did. I didn't know what to do… haha I was only a freshman in high school and
everything seemed to be falling apart at the time. Now looking back it sounds
incredibly stupid. I guess if someone really wanted you, they’d actually put
some effort into trying to get your attention, and make sacrifices for you. They wouldn't just tell you they liked you; they’d show you in every little way possible.
I think that the more you get to know someone the more beautiful they become to
you, you start thinking of things you want to do together as friends and such. Sure,
they mystery goes away, but discovering something new about them is so
interesting. Now she is out of the picture and me and him are best friends, he
comes to me for girl advice and I go to him for guy advice, so it really worked
out. I guess things really do happen for
a reason, something’s we just never will know.
